AC/DC High Voltage Tester for Large-Area Modules

The Hi-Pot Station™ performs high voltage isolation to ensure that the cell circuit will not leak potentially hazardous electrical currents onto exposed module surfaces when the module is installed in an array. The tester can apply voltages up to 6kV DC and measure leakage currents as low as 10 µA. The applied test voltage, resulting leakage current, and time remaining are displayed during each test. A pass or fail indicator is illuminated at the end of each test and an audible alarm is triggered in the event of a failure. Up to 10 automatic test sequences can be programmed and stored. An infrared perimeter guard surrounds the module under test to prevent accidental shocks.
