Reduced Thrombus & Fibrin Sheath

In in vitro and animal studies, the coated Decathlon Gold Catheter reduced total thrombus accumulation by 96% and 94% compared to uncoated catheter. The coating was effective in mitigating both disturbed flow-mediated thrombosis (at the catheter tip) and fibrin sheath propagation (on the catheter shaft).
