PV Systems Sales Manager
Position Summary:
The PV Systems Sales Manager will manage the increased commercial and federal sales activity and be responsible for establishing sales of PV systems and PPA financing primarily in the New England region, but may also be assigned accounts throughout the US as required. The Sales Manager will coordinate with telesales and marketing efforts to expand Spire’s solar opportunities.
Job Description:
- Direct the sales activities within assigned region
- Identify and prospect new opportunities
- Prepare proposals and quotations in response to sales, solicitation, bidding and PPA requirements
- Maintain familiarity with SSS customers, incentives and regulatory requirements
- Proficiently explain complex financial and technical factors in regards to solar systems
- Manage contacts with key customers
- Work with customers and SSS engineering and PM staff to establish and facilitate sales
- Provide direction to internal staff on customer needs and positioning of services
- Support Spire efforts on all systems sales and marketing activities
- Propose budgets to support marketing and sales enhancing activities
- Support corporation needs in payment clarifications and collections as required
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in technical or marketing area
- Five years experience in management of level clients and projects
- Familiarity with PV Systems and market conditions
- Must be well organized and have demonstrated ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
- Proficient in MS Office, SalesForce.com and common business software
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Possess valid drivers license and able to travel
- 20/20 vision or correctable; hearing within normal range
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, kneel and bend unaided
