QA Assistant
Position Summary: Provide Administrative Assistance to the Quality/Regulatory Department. Assist with Biomedical Division tasks as needed. Fill in help for Inspection Dept. and Processing Services as needed.
Detailed Job Description:
- Main responsibility will be to assist the Quality Systems Manager with document control functions
- Document Control Changes - Process document control requests. This includes preparing a document control cover sheet, circulating and tracking the changes internally, pulling the prior revision of the document and processing the document through the document control system (current and obsolete)
- Update Excel spreadsheets and print forms as required.
- Printing NCCR forms and MEL forms.
- Train and perform as an Internal Auditor
- General administrative duties including filing, collecting divisional timecards, mail distribution, ordering supplies, distribution of division paychecks, maintain vacation schedule, maintain library conference room schedule, fill copy machines, and answer phones for Biomedical calls
- Work in the Inspection Department on Customer-supplied components on a daily basis or as needed • Other duties as required
Job Qualifications:
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- 20/20 vision or correctable. Hearing within normal range
- Ability to perform office seated work for prolonged (2+ hours) periods.
- Able to stand for 2 hours and walk, bend, sit and squat unaided.
- Ability to lift 35 pounds at table height (36 inches)
- High level of skills using Microsoft office (Word, Excel)
- Able to produce PowerPoint documents.
- Excellent communication skills (able to give and follow instruction).
- Excellent typing, proof reading and editing skills.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Willing to multi-task in a busy work environment.
- Working knowledge of ISO
- Able to wear latex gloves.
- Associates degree; Bachelor's degree preferred, or 5 years experience in similar position.
