Field Service Engineer III

Field Service Engineer III

Responsibilities:
  • Act as first contact for customers for service related incoming calls, and coordinate customer paperwork with Sales department
  • Understand and verify customer equipment service requirements are met and respond to customer inquiries within 24 hours
  • Travel to customer sites to assist with set up of new equipment and resolve problems as required
  • Maintain Field Service tracking system to gauge customer satisfaction
  • Review final operation of equipment as related to customer specifications
  • Work with Manufacturing and Engineering to develop new equipment specifications
Qualifications:
  • • Associates degree or equivalent experience in electromechanical assembly of industrial/capital equipment
  • At least two years, “hands on”, experience in electromechanical assembly in the semiconductor or related industries
  • Experience managing or assisting in the training of customers in the factory, participating in installation and trouble shooting/repair
  • Must have demonstrated ability to maintain professional communications with the customer at all times
  • Thorough knowledge of assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, computer familiarity to operate commercial software such as MS Word, Excel, Access, Act and similar programs or equivalent is required
  • Ability to travel up to 70% both domestically and internationally
  • Familiar with international quality standards. Must have a command of standard written and spoken English
  • Must have valid drivers license
