Electrical Engineer

Reporting to: Senior Controls Engineer

Position Summary: Develop Maintain and document electrical controls and electronics for Spire Solar automated manufacturing and test equipment.

Job Description:

• Design, develop and maintain electrical circuits and controls for automated machines
• Specify/recommend electrical and software components for equipment
• Analyze existing products for electrical design improvements
• Provide troubleshooting  and diagnostic support for customers and Customer Satisfaction team as needed.
• BS in Electrical Engineering with 3 years machine control/automation experience
• Must be familiar with NFPA 79, NFPA 70 and CE standards

Job Qualifications:

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
• 3 years minimum machine control/automation experience
• Skilled un using AutoCAD 2000 for generating control system schematics and panel layouts
• Familiar with NFPA 79, NFPA70 and CE standards
• Skilled in MS Excel and Word
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Available for occasional domestic and international travel for field service, as required
