Production Clerk
Position Summary: Perform various administrative tasks, such as compiling documentation, data entry, and distribution of production documents, in support of the Production group including: Managers, Engineers, Material and Stockroom personnel, and Production Lead Assemblers.
Detailed Job Description:
- Prepare and post reports and metrics for management
- Daily office activities include: filing, reconciling, scanning, printing, data entry, and processing paperwork
- Ability to understand engineering documents and work closely with members of purchasing, engineering and production
- Collaborate and effectively communicate with internal and external personnel as necessary to effectively perform all facets of this function
- Maintain office supplies, logs, factory signs, announcement boards, and routine postings
- Collect and distribute time sheets, purchase requisitions, and related documents
- Create and distribute meeting summary reports
- Conduct special projects as needed
Job Qualifications:
- H.S Degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience supporting a production environment
- Must be able to work concurrently with all departments
- Requires attention to detail and independent drive to obtain information first hand
- Prefer a knowledge of MRP control systems, production scheduling experience and or a college degree
- Fluent in written and spoken English with correctible vision to 20/20
- Hearing correctible to normal range and ability to lift up to 25 lbs
