PV Solar Equipment Sales Engineer
Position Summary: The PV Solar Equipment Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical sales for Solar Products and Services. Work directly with Regional Sales Managers to support sales activity in all regions.
Job Description:
- Aggressively pursue leads and opportunities for Solar Equipment and Services
- Support Regional Sales Managers in assigned regions to develop deeper penetration into key accounts or new opportunities
- Create list of large accounts and develop strategy of regular contact
- Work with engineering, sales and applications to learn, maintain, develop and communicate product features
- Make recommendations to improve and define new products as needed to address market conditions and target customer needs
- Become in-house expert on key products
Qualifications:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 2 –5 years experience selling technical products
- Excellent presentation, writing and communication skills required
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft office and CRM software
- Strong analytical ability, organizational skills and demonstrated project management skill required
